This ArcheloLAB Terms of Sale and Refund Policy (the "Policy") forms an integral part of the overarching ArcheloLAB Terms of Use and governs all sales, purchases, payments, and refunds conducted through the ArcheloLAB Platform (www.archelolab.com and associated applications). By engaging in any transaction on the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Policy.

1. General Sales Principles


1.1. Scope:

This Policy applies to all purchases made on the ArcheloLAB Platform, including (but not limited to) Architectural Design Packages, Interior Design Packages, Home Plans, products from the ArcheloLAB Shop (raw materials, furniture, fixtures, etc.), and the hiring of additional Design & Build Professionals (MEP Engineers, Structural Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, 3D Artists, etc.).

1.2. Binding Agreement:

All transactions are legally binding agreements between the User and ArcheloLAB, or between the User and a specific Third-Party Vendor/Service Provider facilitating the sale through the Platform, as applicable.

1.3. Accuracy of Information:

Users are solely responsible for providing accurate and complete information for all transactions, including contact details, delivery addresses, payment information, and project specifications. ArcheloLAB bears no liability for issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the User.

2. ArcheloLAB Design Packages & Home Plans


2.1. Service Description:

ArcheloLAB offers various pre-defined "Architecture Plan" and "Interior Design" packages. These packages outline the scope of design services, deliverables, and associated fees. Separately, clients can purchase pre-designed "Home Plans."

2.2. Agreement with Professionals:

When a client selects a professional for a design package via ArcheloLAB, a service agreement is formed between the client and the selected Design & Build Professional, facilitated by ArcheloLAB. ArcheloLAB's role is primarily as a platform provider, though it facilitates payment processing and project management tools.

2.3. Payment for Design Packages:

  • Milestone Payments: Payments for design packages are typically structured around project milestones or as agreed upon within the package terms.
  • Authorization: By initiating payment for a design package, you authorize ArcheloLAB and/or our third-party payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the agreed amounts at each milestone.
  • Non-Payment: Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of design services by the professional, and ArcheloLAB may restrict access to relevant Platform features until outstanding amounts are settled.

2.4. Refunds for Design Packages:

  • General Principle: Refunds for design services are generally not provided once a design milestone has been approved by the client and the corresponding payment has been processed, as the professional's work for that phase has been rendered.
  • Early Cancellation (Pre-Commencement): If a client cancels a design package before any design work has commenced or the initial payment has been processed for the professional, a full refund of any initial booking or platform fee may be considered, less any non-refundable processing fees incurred by ArcheloLAB.
  • Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute regarding the quality or delivery of design services, clients must first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the assigned Design & Build Professional through the Platform's communication tools. If unresolved, ArcheloLAB may, at its sole discretion, mediate the dispute. Refunds or partial refunds in such cases will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account work completed, professional fees incurred, and the specific circumstances of the dispute. ArcheloLAB's decision on such disputes shall be final.
  • Professional Non-Performance: If a Design & Build Professional fails to deliver services as per the agreed scope and timeline, and efforts to rectify the situation fail, the client may be entitled to a refund for undelivered portions of the service, subject to ArcheloLAB's assessment.

2.5. Refunds for Home Plans:

  • Digital Product Nature: Purchased Home Plans are digital products. Due to their immediate accessibility and replicability, all sales of Home Plans are final and non-refundable once the plan has been downloaded or accessed by the User.
  • Exceptions: A refund may be considered only if there is a verified technical error preventing download or access, or if the purchased plan significantly deviates from its description on the Platform, as determined by ArcheloLAB.

3. ArcheloLAB Shop Purchases (Materials, Furniture, etc.)


3.1. Product Availability & Descriptions:

While ArcheloLAB strives for accuracy, product availability is subject to change. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided by Third-Party Vendors and are for informational purposes. ArcheloLAB does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any product information.

3.2. Order Placement:

Placing an order through the ArcheloLAB Shop constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. Orders are subject to acceptance by the Third-Party Vendor and ArcheloLAB.

3.3. Payment for Shop Products:

  • Full Payment: Purchases from the ArcheloLAB Shop typically require full upfront payment unless otherwise specified (e.g., for custom orders or bulk purchases).
  • Payment Authorization: You authorize ArcheloLAB and/or its third-party payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total order amount, including product costs, shipping fees, and applicable taxes.

3.4. Delivery & Shipping:

  • Third-Party Logistics: Delivery of products is typically handled by Third-Party Vendors or their designated logistics partners. Shipping costs, delivery times, and methods will be specified at the time of purchase.
  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage for products passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • Inspection upon Delivery: You are responsible for inspecting products immediately upon delivery. Any visible damage or discrepancies must be reported to the delivery personnel and ArcheloLAB within 24 hours of receipt.

3.5. Refunds for Shop Products (Return, Exchange & Refund Policy):

  • Return Period: Most products are eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. Custom-made, personalized, or perishable items may be non-returnable. Specific product return policies will be clearly stated on the product page.
  • Condition for Return: Returned products must be in their original, unused, and undamaged condition, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
  • Return Process:
    1. Notify ArcheloLAB customer support within the eligible return period with your order details and reason for return.
    2. Follow instructions provided for packaging and return shipping. Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defect or error by the vendor.
  • Refund Processing: Upon successful inspection of the returned item(s), a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days. The refund amount will typically exclude original shipping charges unless the return is due to a product defect or vendor error.
  • Exchanges: Product exchanges are subject to product availability and the specific policy of the Third-Party Vendor.
  • Damaged/Defective Products: If a product arrives damaged or is defective, you must report it within 24 Hours of delivery with photographic evidence. ArcheloLAB will facilitate a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, in such cases, provided the claim is verified.

4. Hiring Additional Design & Build Professionals


4.1. Service Nature:

ArcheloLAB facilitates the hiring of additional Design & Build Professionals (e.g., MEP, Structural, QS, 3D Artists) to complement client projects. This creates a direct service agreement between the client and the hired professional.

4.2. Payment:

Payment terms for these professionals will be mutually agreed upon between the client and the professional, typically structured in milestones or upon completion of defined deliverables, with payments processed through the ArcheloLAB Platform.

4.3. Refunds for Hired Professionals:

  • Service-Based: Refunds are generally contingent on the completion of service milestones. Once a professional's work for a particular milestone has been delivered and approved, the corresponding payment is non-refundable.
  • Disputes: In the event of a dispute regarding the performance or deliverables of a hired professional, clients must first attempt resolution directly. ArcheloLAB may offer mediation but is not a party to the direct service agreement. Refund considerations are on a case-by-case basis and ArcheloLAB's decision is final.

5. Payment Processing & Security


5.1. Payment Methods:

ArcheloLAB accepts various payment methods as indicated on the Platform, which may include credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or other digital payment solutions.

5.2. Payment Processing:

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. ArcheloLAB does not store full payment card details on its servers.

5.3. Authorization:

By providing payment details, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and authorize ArcheloLAB to charge the amounts due for your transactions.

5.4. Chargebacks & Reversals:

In the event of a chargeback or payment reversal initiated by you for a transaction processed through ArcheloLAB, you agree to cooperate fully with ArcheloLAB and our payment processor to resolve the issue. If amounts are reversed from our accounts, you agree to promptly remit them to ArcheloLAB. ArcheloLAB reserves the right to suspend your account or pursue legal action to recover such amounts, including costs and reasonable attorneys' fees, and may charge a late fee (lesser of 1.5% per month or maximum legal limit) on overdue amounts.

5.5. Outstanding Balances:

For any amounts owed to ArcheloLAB by you (including chargebacks, refunds, or non-compliance fees), ArcheloLAB may charge any stored payment method or issue an invoice for such outstanding balances.

6. General Refund Principles


6.1. Policy Adherence:

All refund requests must comply with the specific conditions outlined in this Policy for the relevant service or product.

6.2. Processing Time:

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date of approval. The actual credit to your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

6.3. Non-Refundable Fees:

Certain fees, such as payment processing fees, may be non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

6.4. ArcheloLAB's Discretion:

ArcheloLAB reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not meet the criteria outlined in this Policy or if there is evidence of abuse of the refund process.

7. Changes to this Policy


ArcheloLAB reserves the right to modify this Terms of Sale and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the revised Policy on the ArcheloLAB Platform with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Platform and its services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
